Friday Spinach

This morning (and from now on - EVERY Friday morning) the office has Krispy Kreme donuts for us. It makes it very hard to walk into the break room to get my fruit juice and vegetables - which I somehow rarely do when other goodies like candy and donuts and hydrogentated oil-laden microwave popcorn is available.

I hate to look a gift horse in the mouth but I am not happy about this Krispy Kreme development at all. Instead I vote for free Friday spinach or maybe free Friday canned mackerel. Just imagine how we could eat and socialize knowing happily that we are also getting good nutrition. ;-)

Hey, I saw the best thing at 7-11. They have doughnuts with crushed oreo cookie topping! Maybe your office will get these for you guys. Heart Attack anyone?

Hey, thanks to that person who posted the comment about the donuts at 7-11, I decided to try one out. Man, they are goooooooooooooood. Not only is the donut topped with crushed oreo cookies, it's a chocolate donut. How good can life get? All those people worrying about who to vote for president, they should just go eat a 7-11 donut.

Mmmmm. Donuts. Give me donuts on Fridays and shave a week off my life. You just go ahead and munch on heads of lettuce on Friday mornings for the next 20 years and suffer that last extra miserable week of your life on your deathbed staring at the ceiling. You'll be wondering (assuming you still retain the ability to wonder at that point) why you traded all those delicious, scrumptious, mouthwatering donuts for an extra week sponge baths and soiled sheets.

Hilarious!! Good point, maybe I SHOULD go for that dougnut! My problem is that can rarely stop once I get going....

Ha ha, you wrote "dougnut"! I knew a Doug once, and come to think of it, he was a nut.

Hey. I wanted you to know that I wasn't the one griping about your spelling of dougnut. So I had to make my own blog just so I could post to your blog un-anonymously. I'm the anonymous poster above who thinks you should eat donuts/doughnuts/dougnuts and give up the extra week of life.
