Bix Beiderbecke - Dreams By The Lake

Oh my - it's Jeff alone again! Yep, Pat is off this weekend so we change the format up a bit. I hope Pat is not mad!! Jeff talks about one of his boyhood jazz idols (Bix) and through the presentation, an interesting look at the 1920's. Listen to a sample of some of Bix's jazz solos as well as an original song Jeff wrote last year about a summer in 1924 called "Dreams By The Lake". The song won quite a few honors on Garageband.com last year.

(for purists, I realized I referred to Bix's trumpet a couple of times, of course he played cornet, not trumpet doh!)

Pat will be back next week for more of a 'normal' show. Learn, laugh and love with Jeff and Pat!
